Motel 6 Buellton - Solvang Area at 333 McMurray Road, Buellton, California.

Upgraded room was spacious and had fridge. Bed comfortable. Pillows comfortable. Waste baskets larger than most hotels/motels. Privacy glass on upgraded rooms. Newer A/C, cooling units in upgraded rooms.

Their standard-sized bedroom is 1/2 the size of any rooms I've stayed in with 2 double beds, with no amenities at all. Had to upgrade. The cost of the upgrade cost as much as going to a more expensive hotel. The upgraded room was spacious, but the facility could offer no extra pillows, no rooms have closets, the rooms had no dressers (in the small room, there was no room for one), no hair dryers, no tissue, no shampoo. As an aside, my socks were filthy after 1 hour, so I don't know how often they cleaned the room, and there was hair in the sheets of the fold out bed. The parking lot was strewn with homeless/addicts.
